BMSCE offers multiple admission pathways for undergraduate B.E. programs. Understanding each route is important so you can plan your admission strategy well in advance.
1. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)
KCET is the primary entrance exam for Karnataka-domicile students seeking admission to engineering colleges across the state. BMSCE is one of the most sought-after colleges under KCET counselling, and cutoff ranks for popular branches are extremely competitive.
Eligibility for KCET Route:
- Must have passed 2nd PUC or 12th Std with English as one of the languages.
- General Merit candidates need a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.
- SC/ST and OBC category candidates need a minimum of 40% aggregate.
KCET seats are allotted through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) counselling process. Seat allocation depends on your KCET rank, category, and preferences.
2. COMEDK UGET
COMEDK is an all-India level entrance exam that gives students from across the country access to top private engineering colleges in Karnataka. BMSCE is a premier COMEDK participating institution.

3. Management Quota Admissions at BMSCE
